So it's been decided...We will be allowing Sayre to attend a pre-K program next year! Notice that I'm pitching it that way instead of saying she's not enrolling in kindergarten. She's taking it very well and we're feeling really good about our decision. She'll stay at the school she's at now, but attend Colleen's pre-k class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This means she'll have time to participate in a gymnastics class on Tuesday or Thursday...something we were sure to mention after we informed her she wasn't going to kindergarten. Wyatt will remain with me another year before enrolling him in the 4 year old program at Sayre's school. So that's that. Our life (at least part of it) is figured out! Yeah!

Isn't it a weight off the shoulders once a decision like that is made? Whew...now just sit back and relax and enjoy your extended time with her...and try not to regret the decision on those trying days! :0)
I think thats great.......I think it does the kids an injustice to push them into mainstream school too early, thats why I'm glad Parker will be one of the oldest in his class b/c he's a November baby, and the cut off is Sept. So good.......and let her be a kid a wee bit more before shes in school every DAY for the next 12 years!!!!!!! :) good decision MOM!
