Chutney spent the holiday weekend with our "doggy sitter" and on Monday while swimming in her pool she had a major seizure. They were able to pull her limp, water filled body out of the water and perform basic CPR to remove all the water from her body. She eventually came around and was very disoriented and unsteady on her feet. By the time we got to her on Monday night she was very excited to see us, but still out of it. She was very tired Monday night, better on Tuesday, and even better on Wednesday. I called the vet and they are going to do some blood work on Friday, just to have a base line, as it could have been 1000 things that caused the seizure. I think she may have had another seizure Thursday morning, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm glad she is "okay" but still very worried about what may happen in the future.
