Katahdin

Ryan and I hiked Katahdin!  It was without a doubt one of the most awesome experiences of my life!!  We had so much fun together.

 We camped out the night before so that we could get an early start.  It rained all day and all night, but we still had a fantastic time!

 It was beautiful when we woke up Friday morning!  

 Yes that is straight up.  About 3/4 of a mile straight up and over rock boulders.  Crazy.  Thankfully this was only 1/5 of the hike.

 The summit!!!  Such an awesome moment!!  Mount Katahdin is the highest mountain in Maine at 5,268 feet.

 Here's something awesome...1.5 miles from the summit (we were heading down and they were heading up) we ran into one of my runners and we both had on Running Moms of Maine shirts from 2011.  Way too cool!!!  It was great to see her!!
