I'm not sure where to start!!
The kids had an amazing 4 days with Ryan while I was in Florida for the marathon. They went to the gym, a Christmas party, ate out at some of our favorite restaurants, brunch with friends, a Christmas Choir performance, took care of some skiing equipment needs, and stayed up late! They didn't seem to miss me at all and Ryan had a great weekend with the kids!!

About the marathon: the weekend was amazing!! Jess, Cindy, and I had an amazing time together! We spent a lot of time eating, drinking water, resting in bed, and watching home improvement shows. It was totally perfect and amazing all at the same time! We had a great time together! Now about the running part: it was a beast! It was, by far, the most mentally challenging thing I have EVER done. I was fighting demons in my head from the very beginning. I don't want to say it wasn't physically hard, because obviously it was, but it was mentally very, very hard! I think I'm going to give myself a week off (get through Christmas) and then I'll hit pavement (or treadmill) again!!
All that being said, I can't wait to do another one! I just can't wait!!!
