Boston

I thought I would wake up this morning feeling a bit better.  That's not the case.  Thinking of Boston and the runners.  The little boy killed who was looking for Dad to cross the finish line breaks my heart.

Acts of violence are extremely hard to comprehend.

An act of violence at a running event, at the finish line, for me, is incomprehensible.

To say this event hits home would be a complete and utter understatement.

I had numerous friends running yesterday, I had a very close friend at the finish line.  Everyone is completely fine, physically, and are safely home.

Nothing rattles your cage more than the wondering.

Nothing makes your do a quick 'life review' more then a senseless act of violence against something as precious to you as life.

I'm furious to my core and heartbroken all at the same time.  It is a very confusing feeling.
