9 Years Ago Today...

9 Years Ago Today...I woke up, had a normal morning, and headed to the doctors for my 38 week appointment.  My belly had not grown since last week so they sent me over to the hospital for a more extensive ultrasound.  At the hospital they determined that my body had stopped producing amniotic fluid and that I had essentially shrink wrapped you in my belly!  You needed to be born today.

I called Ryan, my Mom, and my Dad.  Our first baby was to be born today.

I walked up to Labor & Delivery to be admitted.  During the ultrasound it was determined that you were still in the breech position, so you would be delivered via c-section.  The surgery was scheduled for 2:30pm so we had lots of time to wait.

Ryan was there immediately and then Nana arrived shortly there after.  While I was in the operating room, my Dad, Sharon, Spencer, and Lawrin arrived.

At 2:58pm you were born.  You weighed 6.6 pounds and measured 19 inches.  You were perfect.

You still are perfect.  You are a sweet, caring, head strong, smart, and funny girl.

You want to be a Vet when you are older.  You are in 3rd grade.  You ride horses, sing in a girls choir, and run cross country.  You love school.   You love Chutney very much.  You will eat just about anything!

We love you more than you will ever know!
