If it wasn't one thing it's another. We get to Philadelphia with plenty of time to spare. Then is started snowing. And snowing. And snowing.
Philadelphia Airport shutdown.
We make the decision at 3:30pm to rent a car to drive home. We're driving, in snow & traffic, by 4:45pm.
I'm driving Cindy's my navigator. She takes me on some back routes to avoid 95 traffic and it was great. The roads were bad, but we were moving.
It took about 2 hours and 1/3 of New Jersey until we could really get moving.
By New York City we were sailing. I drove about 80 the whole way home and we made it from Philadelphia Airport to my driveway in 7.5 hours. Not bad if I do say so myself. Wow. It was insane. But we're home.
If we had stayed in Philadelphia and tried to get on a flight this morning, we still wouldn't be home. Nothing is moving out of Philadelphia.
