The latest on the computer....

This is what I received at 9:45pm last night:

We can confirm the presence of key folders, although scattered they are on the recovered media set.

Cross County - Spring 2014, Fall 2013
RMOM - Training Plans, Master Sheet
CCRC
CCYR
Email, on the other hand, is there, but I don't think it's of too much value. The problem is that even though the text of the emails is visible (you can browse directories and open messages) the damage to the system structure is so severe that you won't be able to import them into a mail program (not easily anyways).

In terms of the recovery quote, this is was a substantial Tier1 case with a standard quote of $435 based on the time and work required to get your data. However, because of the extensive damage to the file system, we're lowering that to our base rate of $350 for T1 projects. At this point, all that is required is a response and we can release this to billing. Since you provided your own media, we will write the extracted data to it once payment is received. Usually we can turn around completed cases in about a day.

So I guess this means everything is there, it's just a mess.  So now I bring it to Apple to get it fixed!  Onward we go....
