Sayre read her own birthday cards this year. Love it. She changed her mind when we were at the grocery store and picked out a store made cake (claiming that I work too much and she wanted me to have a break!!). For birthday dinner she picked out noodles, shrimp, and broccoli (tradition for her, I think it's 3 years in a row now!). We had a lovely morning at field hockey practice (she's playing, I'm assistant coaching). Then lunch, presents, and yard work. Her dinner was followed by cake and bed. I think she had a wonderful day. With a small "friend" party, Wyatt's birthday, and my Mom and Aunt coming later in the week her birthday is sure to last about 6 days!!
